Chrome Shift has existed since January 1999. It's members are: Otto Schütt(g), Poul Terkildsen(d), Rasmus Bak(v) and J. C. Nielsen(b). It's a progressive rock/metal band under the influence of
Dream Theater, Pain Of Salvation and King's X.
The name Chrome Shift origins from a title of a Nielsen/Shütt piece. Once trying to name the piece, Otto
Schütt remembered a strange title ("The Chrome Shift") he once wrote down on a piece of paper.
Chrome Shift has recorded a 3-track demo in spring 2000, that was promoted as a demo of full-length record "Ripples In Time". The record has been recorded in spring 2002 and is released in 2003 on DVS Records.
